Mastex Software was founded in 2006 as a maritime software supplier. The company has worked with MXSuite fleet management software since 2008. What started as a small software package with a single module has expanded into a fully-fledged, ten-module suite.
MXSuite has grown tremendously since its first on-board installation. The software package is used on all ship types, from yachts and tankers to dredgers and passenger liners.
Why is fleet management not more simple?
When Mastex Software was first established in 2006 by Peter van Driel, he operated out of a small attic room. The company is now headquartered in a modern office building in Alblasserdam, which is equipped with the latest facilities, including a modern training room for receiving MXSuite users. The office building houses the management, administration, support and sales departments.
A reliable partner
In 2008, software development was outsourced to a partner in Romania and in 2016, a new office was opened in Bucharest, where the latest software is being developed.
