The Trinidad & Tobago Coast Guard (TTCG) expands their fleet with two Cape-class patrol boats, designed and constructed by Austal Australia at their shipyard in Henderson, Western Australia. The 58 metre aluminium monohull vessels with a crew of 27 feature MXSuite as their CMMS Application, further strengthening the relationship between TTCG and Mastex Software.
Mastex software, a premium partner for ship owners and managers, brings fleet management software to a new level with their recently released business intelligence (BI) tool. Going beyond data entry, the tool helps keep real-time track of all data produced in and outside MXSuite, bringing them together in a visual dashboard. The tool provides an effective way for TTCG to retrieve KPI’s and other relevant data.
Database building
The more complex a vessel, the more challenging it can be to build a good maintenance system. Austal collaborated closely with Mastex Software and TTCG to deliver a full PMS database that complies with all the specifications and requirements. Van Driel, Managing Director of Mastex Software: ‘Vessels are becoming more and more complex technologically, requiring real-time monitoring and data insight. We worked together closely with all parties to come to a practical solution, and we are proud of the result of this partnership. Mastex Software wishes TTCG, their new vessels and their crew safe journeys!’
